التنافس الاستراتيجي الصيني – الأمريكي في بحر الصين الجنوبي والمحيط الهادئ: التهديد المتبادل

تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى تقديم رؤية تحليلية عن ديناميكية التنافس الاستراتيجي الحاصل ما بين الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية والصين في منطقة المحيط الهادئ وبحر الصين الجنوبي، وانعكاس هذا التنافس على السياسات والإجراءات المتبادلة ما بين القوتين.
وخلص البحث إلى إن الولايات المتحدة عازمة على مواصلة حماية مصالحها ومنافسة واحتواء الصين ومنعها من التمدد في منطقة بحر الصين الجنوبي والمحيط الهادئ، من خلال زيادة التواجد العسكري وتعزيز التعاون الأمني مع حلفائها في المنطقة. وفي المقابل تعد الصين منطقة بحر الصين الجنوبي والمحيط الهادئ من ضمن مصالحها الاساسية، إذ تسعى إلى مد نفوذها من خلال ممارسة المزيد من الإجراءات العسكرية البحرية، ومنع أي قوة أخرى من بسط نفوذها وتهديد مصالحها البحرية. ومن خلال إجراء المقارنة ما بين التصورات والإجراءات الأمريكية والصينية المتبادلة، تشكل تصور تهديد متبادل ما بين القوتين.
